On the axle underneath your RV, there is a sticker attached directly to the axle. This tag contains important information we need to ensure we order the correct products for your trailer.
Please provide us with a photo of the axle tag, making sure the numbers are clear and easy to read.
This is THE MOST important photo that we need for disc brake and suspension upgrades.
Please provide a photo of the underbelly of the RV includes the axles and springs. This will give us to view the underbelly design and allow us to identify any obstructions.
Please provide a photo of the spring hanger and show the measurement length.
This will be important for suspension products and X-Factor Crossmembers
Please attach additional photos if there is an identified obstruction. This will be helpful for us to identify what products we can install, and make a plan to divert the obstruction if possible.
Does your RV have Correct Track? It will be a yellow octagon attached to your leaf springs.
We will need additional adapters to fit products for trailers that have Correct Track.
Providing the measured length of the shackles will allow our techs to identify if we need to replace to provide clearance of disc brake and suspension upgrades.
At Ramblin' Man RV, we believe in providing exceptional customer service. Our team is always ready to answer any questions you may have and help you find the products that best meet your needs.
The trailer will need to be on solid, level ground.
It should be off a busy road that give the techs a safe space.
Be prepared to bring in the slides over the wheels on the techs arrival.
Have access to the leveling system unlocked.
We will be raising and lowering your RV.
Be sure to move everything that is attached, leaning, or under the RV.
When work is being provided to the RV, you will continue to have access to go in and out (within the limits of the slides brought in.)
Just don't treat it like a trampoline
The techs will ask to meet at the beginning of the service - you are not required to stay.
We love teaching our costumers! However - please allow our techs to focus on their work. Especially at busy rallies we want to do our best to get to everyone who is requesting work.
Once your new disc brakes are installed, we’ll take a quick test drive together. This helps us make sure everything is working exactly as it should and gives us a chance to address any questions or concerns on the spot.
It will allow us to identify any immediate concerns with brake function and communication with truck brake controller.
